The FX-102 utilizes the same proven microprocessor platform as the FX-101 with a calibrated fiber rotator to torsion fiber and produce an angle cleave. Fiber adapter inserts are available to cleave a range of fiber coating and cladding diameters. Cleave length can be adjusted from 0.02 mm to 30 mm. Ferrule fiber stubs can be cleaved to length accuracy of ±0.02 mm with a suitable adapter. Featuring an unsurpassed diamond lifetime of >220,000 cleaves, the FX-102 is easy to use, rugged, compact, battery powered and ready for the lab or the field.
